SERVICE INFORMATION
As of the publication date of this bulletin, Signal Tech II can now be used by itself to perform the TPMS (Tire
Pressure Monitoring System) ID registration procedure.
IMPORTANT: Signal Tech II software version must first be updated to 1.48.3. The new software is
available through ASIST.
TPMS ID registration can be performed using the following tools:
•
Transmitter Activation tool (J-45295-A) with CONSULT-III plus (preferred method)
•
Signal Tech II tool (J-50190) with CONSULT-III plus (preferred method)
•
Signal Tech II tool (J-50190) without CONSULT -III plus
Use the TPMS ID registration instructions in this bulletin as needed.
NOTE: Tire Pressure Sensor Activation Tool J-45295 will not work on the 2014 Q50
or Q50 Hybrid.
