MURANO CONVERTIBLE TOP WILL NOT STOW COMPLETELY
APPLIED VEHICLE:
2011 - 2012 Murano convertible (Z51)
IF YOU CONFIRM:
•
The convertible top will not completely open and stow.
And/or
•
There is a bulge in the headliner at the left or right of the rear Skylight Window.
ACTION:
Inspect both of the Skylight Window Links for separation from the Skylight Window Frame.
•
If either of the Skylight Window Links is separated from the Skylight Window Frame
replace the Folding Roof Cover with the part listed in the PARTS INFORMATION.
NOTE: Refer to the appropriate section of the Electronic Service Manual for the
procedure to replace the folding roof cover.

SERVICE PROCEDURE:
Bulge in headliner
If the headliner has signs of an external
bulge as shown in Figure 1, and/or will not
completely open and stow:
1. Open the convertible top enough so that
the material can be pulled away from
the frame assembly (Figure 2).

2. Inspect both left and right Skylight
Window Links for separation from the
Skylight Window Frame (Figure 2 and
Figure 3).
3. If either link has separated on the left or
right sides, replace the Folding Roof
Cover.
