Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific 2016 titan xd vehicles to install a dual wall bedliner and a cargo tie down kit that should have been installed on the vehicle from the factory, but were not.

OWNER NOTIFICATION
Dear Nissan Titan XD Owner:
Nissan is committed to providing the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
With that in mind, we want to inform you of a voluntary service campaign being conducted
by Nissan to install [Storage Boxes, Step Rails, Electronic Tailgate Lock, Splash Guards] on
your vehicle, which should be equipped with this accessory.
REASON FOR SERVICE CAMPAIGN
Certain Titan XD vehicles were intended to have [Storage Boxes, Step Rails, Electronic
Tailgate Lock, Splash Guards] installed, but may have been sold without these accessories
installed.
WHAT NISSAN WILL DO
To assure your continued satisfaction with your vehicle, Nissan will install the [Storage
Boxes, Step Rails, Electronic Tailgate Lock, Splash Guards] at an authorized Nissan dealer at
no charge to you for parts or labor. The service could take up to one hour (per
accessory) to complete, but the Nissan dealer may require your vehicle for a longer period
of time based upon the work schedule.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Nissan encourages you to contact an authorized Nissan dealer at your earliest convenience
in order to arrange an appointment.
To minimize any inconvenience to you, it is important that you have an
appointment before bringing your vehicle to an authorized Nissan dealer for
service. Please bring this notice with you when you keep your service appointment.
Instructions have been sent to your Nissan dealer.
