SITUATION
Gear Shift Assistant (i.e. clutchless shifting) is not working. Damaged wire(s) in the main wiring harness
(see Figure 1 and Figure 2).

PROCEDURE
In a customer complaint case, a TSARA case with a relevant damage pattern is to be created.
The ability to repair will be decided on in each individual case. An image of the main wiring harness (label)
will also be required.
Following wiring harness repair, check that the cable to the Gear Shift Assistant is laid correctly (see Figure
3). The elongated length (from clip to plug end) is 110 mm in all K8x models.

takes into account specific equipment and/or options.
Additional parts like gaskets, hardware and chemicals may be required for the complete repair.
