Generation 3 12v battery conversion

9999 MCLAREN MCLAREN 
Please note that when updating from GEN1 or GEN2 12V battery to the latest GEN3 12V
battery, communication to the IBS (Intelligent Battery Sensor) may not be possible.
This will result in the IBS displaying as “IBS Base” and missing the software version number,
as shown in the below image.
This symptom is the result of a communication error between the MDS and the vehicle.
It does not alter the operation of the battery or vehicle.
Currently this situation requires no action and will be rectified within a later software version.
