45 Parking brake warning in instrument cluster while starting vehicle, DTC U103100 is stored in the ABS control module 45 21 17 2061906/2 June 25, 2021. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 45 number 21-14 dated January 15, 2021 for reasons listed below. Workshop findings: The following DTC may be stored sporadically in the ABS control module, J104 (address word 0003): DTC U103100 (FlexRay data bus, no synchronization). Service SVM Update Instructions 1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions. 2. Proceed with basic settings for the electromechanical parking brake and the tire pressure monitoring system afterward. Note: If after the software update the DTC remains in the ABS control module, J104 (address word 0003), then proceed as follows: 1. Lock the vehicle. 2. Wait until sleep bus mode is activated. 3. Read the ABS memory log and delete any remaining DTCs in the ABS control module, J104 (address word 0003). 4. Reevaluate the vehicle. Warranty Claim Type: 110 up to 48 Months/50,000 Miles.
