Customer Questions:
Headlamp assemblies are vented to the atmosphere to accommodate changes in temperature
within the assembly. The result of this is that humidity in the headlamp atmosphere can condense
when the temperature falls below the dew point.
It is normal for a mist or fog of moisture to condense on the inside of the lens. Moisture levels in
the headlamp become abnormal when there is a large amount of water drops forming on the lens,
as in the photos below.

In the event of excessive moisture buildup, inspect the headlamp for leaks around the lens. If no
leaks are present, inadequate ventilation of the headlamp is not allowing the moisture to escape.
The nozzle at the bottom of the vent hose is suspect and should be replaced. Vehicles produced
after July 29, 2014 have the improved nozzle.
The correct nozzle part number is 95B.941.741.A
