Further investigation has found there is no/low refrigerant in the A/C system. CAUSE: The bolts retaining the Low Pressure (LP) and High Pressure (HP) pipes to the A/C compressor are too long. ACTION: Follow the instructions below. SERVICE INSTRUCTION: NOTES: This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity. This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct. 1. Evacuate the A/C system (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 412-00: Climate Control System - General Information - General Procedures - Air Conditioning System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging). https://www.odyssey.jlrint.com/odyssey/WorkflowHtmlComposition.do?wid=1616167407515 3/7 7/16/2021 TECHNICAL BULLETIN 2. WARNING: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Electric Vehicle Authorised Person (EVAP) trained technicians only. Power Down the High Voltage (HV) system. Only technicians qualified to EVAP level or higher are allowed to perform this procedure (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 414-01: Battery, Mounting and Cables - High Voltage System - General Procedures - High Voltage System Power Down/Up - Front Traction and Auxiliary Circuits). 3. Release the 2 pipes from the A/C compressor. Remove and discard the 2 bolts. 5. WARNING: JLR EVAP trained technicians only. Power Up the HV system.
