Refer to Document ID# 4773341: Circuit/System Verification/Testing.
Verify a test lamp does not turn on between terminal 10 and ground:
• If the test lamp turns on, repair the short to voltage on circuit 2172.
• If the test lamp does not turn on, remove all appropriate fuses supplied by circuit 2172.
Test for infinite resistance between Terminal 10 at the T19 Power Supply Transformer and
ground:
Note: A less than infinite reading can be caused by component circuits being shorted to
another component within the harness or a slight chafe to grounds preventing a fuse
to open.
Correction
• If less than infinite, repair the short to ground on the circuit.
• If infinite resistance, replace the T19 Power Supply Transformer.

GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these
technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper
service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a
job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your
vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the
information.
