CAUSE The passive safety application 'Precrash' in the Airbag Control unit (ACSM - advanced crash- and safety management) is prematurely triggered by the heavy brake application event. CORRECTION Encode the ACSM using ISTA 4.29.2x or higher. This software will be released May 12, 2021 PROCEDURE 1. Determine the vehicle’s current I-level by either using AIR or the ISPA NEXT application. If needed, use the latest ISTA to work through test modules. 2. Is the current vehicle integration level: Model Integration level F90 Lower than S15A-21-03-550 YES: Proceed to Step 3 NO: Further diagnosis with ISTA is needed. Work thru the corresponding test module if necessary. 3. Program the vehicle using ISTA 4.29.2x or higher.
