Service Technical Information 107/21 ENU AMB4 4 AMB4 – Replacing Steering Column Screws on Steering Gear (Recall Campaign) Model Line: Cayenne (9YA/9YB) Model Year: As of 2018 up to 2021 Concerns: Steering column screws on steering gear Information: Due to a process error during production, there is a possibility that the threaded connection securing the steering column to the steering gear does not meet the required specifications on the affected vehicles. If this is the case, the steering column can become detached from the steering gear over the service life of the vehicle. As a result, we cannot rule out the possibility that the steering will fail. Action required: Replace steering column screws on the steering gear. Affected Vehicles: Only vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PCSS Vehicle Information).
