Service Bulletin September 17, 2021 21-079 Version 1 Product Improvement Campaign: 2022 Civic Key FOB AFFECTED VEHICLES Year Model Trim VIN Range 2022 CIVIC All Check the iN VIN status for eligibility BACKGROUND Certain 2022 Civics manufactured in Canada by HCM were originally supplied with one remote Key Fob at time of vehicle delivery due to the global chip shortage. CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION Owners of affected vehicles will be sent a notification of this campaign. Do an iN VIN status inquiry to make sure the vehicle is shown as eligible. Some vehicles affected by this campaign may be in your new or used vehicle inventory. Repair these vehicles before they are sold. CORRECTIVE ACTION Program the new key fob to the vehicle. Connect the i-HDS to the data link connector (i-HDS). 2. Do the registration according to the "Immobilizer Setup Tool" screen. 3. Verify the remote related functions work normally with all remotes.
