Model(s) Year VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment Q3 2019 - 2022 All Not Applicable Condition REVISION HISTORY Revision Date Purpose 3 - Revised header (Updated Elsa display and added Model Year 2022) 2 01/15/2021 Revised Condition (Updated description) Revised Service (Updated description) 1 07/08/2020 Initial publication Customer states: There is a droning/vibrating noise from the right half of the vehicle (sometimes in the dash panel area, B pillar or rear). Workshop findings: The fuel/EVAP lines in the longitudinal member start to vibrate in certain operating situations and this creates the noise. Technical Background Due to pressure pulsation from the high-pressure pump on engine side the underfloor line in the underbody tunnel vibrates. This vibration causes noise that can also be heard in the vehicle interior. Production Solution Not applicable. Page 1 of 3 © 2021 Audi of America, Inc. All rights reserved.
