Metallic Rattle Sound While Operating Horn
09/13/21
INTRODUCTION:
This bulletin announces the design changes to the right front wheel apron. A customer may
experience a “metallic rattle” sound when operating the horn. This can be the passenger side horn
mount making contact with the wheel apron creating a vibration/sound. The new apron has an added
indentation to providing needed clearance for the horn. There has also been a horn stopper removed
from the apron to allow additional clearance as well.
PRODUCTION CHANGE INFORMATION:
•
Vehicles produced as of January 2020 will have the added indentation.
•
Vehicles produced as of August 2021 will have the added indentation and the deleted horn
stopper.
