PURPOSE
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: STOP SALE on affected Slingshot vehicles identified in your inventory. Polaris has determined
that 10 Slingshot vehicles have wheel lug nuts that may not have achieved the specified torque value during the assembly
process.
Affected vehicles will need to have the lug nut torque confirmed to meet specification prior to retail.

• US / Canada Dealers: On DEX, go to Service and Warranty > Warranty Claim and Extended Coverage > Start a New
Warranty Claim. Select Dealer Hold> Enter the VIN / PIN and Retrieve Registration. Select TDH-21-01 and Send Claim.
TDH-21-01 PROCEDURE
TOOLS REQUIRED
• Socket Set, Metric
– Socket Size: 17 mm (deep well)
7. Verify all five lug nuts of the front right wheel to the
specified value.
TORQUE
Wheel Lug Nuts:
75 ft-lbs (102 N·m)
• Torque Wrench
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Park vehicle on a flat surface.
8. Verify all five lug nuts of the rear wheel to the specified
value.
2. Shift vehicle to NEUTRAL.
TORQUE
3. Press START/STOP button to turn vehicle OFF.
Wheel Lug Nuts:
75 ft-lbs (102 N·m)
4. Apply parking brake.
5. Remove key fob from proximity of vehicle.
6. Verify all five lug nuts of the front left wheel to the
specified value.
9. Submit a Dealer Hold Warranty Claim for TDH-21-01.
