Discard all previous versions of this bulletin. APPLIED VEHICLES: 2021-2022 Armada (Y62) 2021 Rogue (T33) – SV, SL, Platinum SERVICE INFORMATION The infotainment system in the APPLIED VEHICLES has the ability to update its software through an over-the-air (OTA) link. As software updates become available for new features, and/or patches, the software update screen (pop-up) shown in Figure 1 will automatically be displayed. Much like cell phone and computer updates, this is a normal feature which allows the user to choose when an update is downloaded. It is recommended that while in dealer inventory and this pop-up appears, that “Yes” is selected to provide the latest software version to the customer at delivery. NOTE: If the ignition is turned OFF in the middle of a download, it will automatically restart when the ignition is turned back ON. To avoid risk of death or serious personal injury when updating software: Park the vehicle in a secure, safe, well-ventilated location that is open to the air and apply the parking brake. When one of the following is selected: Yes: The pop-up is hidden and the download starts in the background. Later: The pop-up is hidden and displayed again in the next key cycle (after cold start). Figure 1 To manually start the software update, select: Info > System Information > Software Update > Start Software Update. Nissan Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Nissan dealer to determine if this applies to your vehicle. 1/2 AMENDMENT HISTORY PUBLISHED DATE REFERENCE DESCRIPTION October 19, 2020 NTB20-075 February 3, 2021 NTB20-075A Classification number updated September 8, 2021 NTB20-075B APPLIED GRADES and WARNING added September 17, 2021 NTB20-075C APPLIED VEHICLES revised Original bulletin published 2/2 NTB20-075C
