Issue
Connectivity modules analyzed by the factory have a high rate of trouble not found.
Symptom:
Occurrence of Fault Code 8154 or 8155
No Lamp/ Silent Fault set by FC8154 or FC8155
During a firmware update of the connectivity module FC8154 or FC8155 will become active.
Following published troubleshooting of FC8155 leads to false replacement of the connectivity
module.
Root Cause:
Fault Code 8154 or 8155 will become active when part one of the connectivity module
firmware update completes and will stay present until the connectivity module firmware update
is completed.
Verification
Verify FC8154 or FC8155 is present.

Follow published troubleshooting procedures for FC8154 or FC8155.
If troubleshooting tree is exhausted, do not replace connectivity module. Release unit back to
customer.
If no root cause is identified, FC8154 or FC8155 will clear after connectivity module has
completed firmware update.
