Symptom:
Cooling fan drive belt chirp noise from engine bay
Root cause:
Misalignment caused by cooling fan drive belt span length between Navistar® fan and freon
compressor pulleys
Verification
Verify if the unit has belt chirp noise
Verify if the belt or accessories are misaligned
Verify if FA options are either FA9320 or FA9640

Resolution
If belt chirp noise is present:
Replace the alternator support bracket with part number 5711534. See L9 CM2350 L116B
Service Manual, Bulletin 5411330. Refer to Procedure 013-003 in Section 13.

Replace the cooling fan drive belt with Dayco® part number 20-9811/5080883.
