JLR is investigating a Blind Spot Monitor DTC
U3000-78 in the Side Obstacle Detection Control
Modules Left / Right, across all 21MY F-Pace (inc
SVR). With DID 2145 showing an angle below -5
or above +5° when normally the angle is in the
range -2 to +2 degrees.
Cause:
Incorrect SODL/SODR bracket(s) fitted during
production, leading to an alignment issue of the
Blind Spot Modules generating DTC U3000-78
(Control Module - Alignment or adjustment
incorrect). There are two types of SODL/SODR
brackets, Non-SVR & SVR, fitted across all 21MY
X761 models. Also, The Electronic Part Catalogue
is incorrect, causing the wrong bracket(s) to be
supplied.
Action:
Do not replace the Side Object Detection
Control Modules (SODL/SODR)
Carry out the following steps:
1. Check both Right-hand (RH) and Left-hand
(LH) brackets to confirm that the correct bracket
is fitted? Please refer to the parts listed below
and image 1 attached;

SVR - RH: 1x T4A40790, LH: 1x T4A40791
2. If incorrect, order the correct bracket(s) and
replace
3. Clear DTC within the Side Object
Detection Control Modules (SODL/SODR)
4. Run routine 0E08 to reset alignment data.
