Check/test procedure
1. Lift vehicle, turn right front wheel, and release wheel well housing as shown.
It is not necessary to remove the front wheel well liner completely in order to perform the check.

2. Release coolant line of battery cooling (A, Figure 2) from clip (B, Figure 2), detach temperature
sensor (C, Figure 2), and pull coolant line downward slightly to read the part number.

3. Check whether coolant line with part number A 167 501 63 03 is installed.

Work procedure
1. Remove front engine compartment lining (D, Figure 4) and right cover (E, Figure 4).

2. Remove right front bulkhead front section with front wheel installed.
3. Replace coolant line for battery cooling (A, Figure 2).
Capture any fluid and reuse.
4. Fill cooling system using vacuum method.
5. Install in the reverse order
