Condition
Customer states:
 The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light is on.
Workshop findings:
 The customer concern can be reproduced.
And
 The tire pressure monitoring system control module, J502 (address code 0065) cannot be reached with
diagnostic tester.
The following DTC may be stored in the data bus on board diagnostic interface, J533 (address code 0019) as
active/static:
 DTC U012700 (Tire Pressure Monitoring Control Module - no communication) with symptom code 131595.
Technical Background
According to ambient conditions, moisture can enter the control module via the pressure equalization element;
this leads to failure of the control module.
Production Solution
This bulletin will be updated when more information is available. A solution is currently under development.
Service
1.
Check the wiring and pins in the connector for damage and measure the voltage supply at the tire pressure
monitoring system control module, J502 (address code 0065).

If no irregularities can be detected:
 Replace the tire pressure monitoring system
control module, J502 (address code 0065) and
also fit with the new bracket, part number 4E0
810 675 C (Figures 1 - 2).

Make sure that the wiring is routed correctly at the bracket and connector.

sealing of the wiring.
