Remedy:
Please obtain the following information and send via PTSS case:
1. Take a video of the windshield cleaning: Filmed from outside; operate the windshield washer system with subsequent wiping of the windshield
2. Take a video: With the wiper system switched off, spray water over the outside of the windshield. Film the run-off
behavior of the water drops.
3. Take a photo of the certification stamp on the windshield
4. Take photos of the left and right wiper blades as shown in Figure 1 (see attachment)
5. Document current settings of left and right wiper arms (see AR82.30-P-6000LW):
Rest position, left wiper arm:
Reversing position, left wiper arm:
Rest position, right wiper arm:
Reversing position, right wiper arm:
6. Ensure windshield is completely clean
7. If wiper blades show signs of wear similar to photo attached, please replace
8. Perform adjustments accd. to AR82.30-P-6000LW
9. Advise customer to not use any sort of wax cycle in an automatic car wash, and to not use any sort of water beading product on the windshield.
