Communication With ABS Module
Some 2021-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit an illuminated anti-lock brake system (ABS)
warning lamp due to various diagnostic trouble codes or faults. If the ABS module does not respond
to the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool during normal diagnostics, make sure all
related connectors are fully seated. If no connector concerns are found, remove the FDRS scan tool
from the vehicle and disconnect the vehicle battery cables for 10 minutes. Reconnect the battery
cables and attempt to re-establish communication with the ABS module using the FDRS scan tool.
