IMPORTANT
This procedure only applies to units equipped with Electronic Stability
Program (ESP) and Automatic Traction Control ( ATC ) with ABS ECU Part
Numbers 23247104 and 22865025
IMPORTANT
Before following this procedure, ensure resources are gathered to
program this specific vehicle’s PAR file using Tech Tool Operation 593107-03-20 ESP Control Unit Configuration under the Calibrate tab.
After following this procedure, the ABS system will not function
correctly until it has been reprogrammed with its correct PAR file.
In addition, the brake pressure sensor must be calibrated after the
PAR file is reprogrammed at the end of this procedure.
1. Download the zip file below:
PLCFix.zip
The zip file contains a program file named Bendix EC80 PLC
Disable.exe. Unzip the file to a location where it can be found.
2. Run the program from where it was unzipped.
3. Click the Backup button.

6. Program the vehicle’s PAR file using Tech Tool Operation 5931-07-0320 ESP Control Unit Configuration under the Calibrate tab.
7. Calibrate the brake pressure sensor.
