SERVICE INFORMATION

When replacing the Intelligent Key unit (hands free module), ALWAYS replace it
with a new one.

Module configuration MUST BE performed before NATS initialization (key
registration). Once NATS initialization has been performed, portions of the
configuration are locked and can no longer be changed.

When replacing the Intelligent Key unit, it is critical to follow the work procedure as
detailed in the ESM.
o For Pathfinder and Rogue, navigate to BODY EXTERIOR, DOORS, ROOF &
VEHICLE SECURITY > DOOR & LOCK > BASIC INSPECTION > ADDITIONAL
SERVICE WHEN REPLACING INTELLIGENT KEY UNIT
o For Sentra, navigate to BODY EXTERIOR, DOORS, ROOF & VEHICLE
SECURITY > DOOR & LOCK > BASIC INSPECTION > INTELLIGENT KEY
UNIT > ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING INTELLIGENT KEY UNIT
To prevent damage to the Intelligent Key unit, perform module configuration BEFORE
NATS initialization.
