SSM 50456 - 2021-2022 Edge - Rear View Camera - Various Image Issues
With Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) C1001 Stored In The IPMB Or APIM
And/Or B115E Stored In The BCM
Some 2021-2022 Edge vehicles may exhibit various image issues such as infrared, distorted,
glitching, flickering or fuzzy image in the rear view camera with DTC C1001 stored in the Image
Processing Module B or Sync module and/or B115E stored in the body control module (BCM). This
may be due to a poor circuit connection. Inspect both male and female sides of connectors C4357
and C2383A for loose, bent, or damaged terminals. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 10000 General Information > Wire Terminal Inspection and Removal. If there is damage detected, refer
to cell 005 of the wiring diagram to perform the repair procedure. In addition to the wiring inspection,
make sure the IPMB and the APIM are in the latest software level. If there is no damage, continue
with the normal diagnosis.
