Some customers may comment the SES light is on and the technician may nd
DTCs P0545 or P04D1 set. P0545 is Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 (B131A)
Circuit Low Voltage. DTC P04D1 is Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature
Sensor 2 (B130BH) Circuit High Voltage.
This issue is under investigation.
Correction:
Follow Service Information diagnostics for each DTC set.
If the code can be duplicated and Service Information Diagnostics for the P0545 leads to replacing the Exhaust
Temperature sensor 1 (B131A), replace as necessary. This PI would not apply.
If If the code can be duplicated and Service Information Diagnostics for the P04D1 leads to replacing the Exhaust
Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature Sensor 2 (B130BH), replace as necessary. Again, this PI would not apply.
If Service Information Diagnostics leads to ECM replacement, replace both the ECM and the sensor indicated by
the DTC.
