PROCEDURE
1.1.
Raise the vehicle.
CAUTION
For information on hoisting and towing of the vehicle, see section 18: hoisting and towing in the Nova Bus
maintenance manual. Use appropriate hoisting equipment for your protection and to prevent damage to
the vehicle.
1.2.
Remove the front dustpan. See Figure 1

1.3.
Remove the horn assembly and discard.
1.4.
Connect the N8950853 horn wire kit to new N104605 Horn.

Affix the new N104605 horn where the removed horn was, using 2 X N11821 bolts, 4 X N11183 washers and
2 X N11185 locknuts. See Figure 2 for torque value.

Torques to 11 N•m ±1 (8 lb-ft ± 1)

1.6.
Install the removed dustpan.
1.7.
Lower the vehicle.

Test the horn functionality.
