SUBJECT: AUTODRIVE CALIBRATION ENHANCEMENTS
PURPOSE
This Service Advisory provides authorized Slingshot dealers the ability to upgrade 2020-2021 AutoDrive models to the new
2022 transmission calibration at no cost.
The 2022 TCM calibration provides further refinements to the 2021 calibration including fine-tuning to shift speed and
reverse engagement engine speed. The calibration is currently available through Digital Wrench II for all 2020-2021
AutoDrive vehicles even if they had TSA-20-01 previously performed.

NOTICE
Model year 2020 and 2021 vehicles will be updated to the 2022 transmission calibration when the Vehicle Controller
Update process is performed, even if used for an ECM calibration update or installation of an accessory programming
such as the Stage 1 ProStar 2.0L tune, add-on paddle shifters, hill hold feature, or Brembo Brake kit. Vehicles already
equipped with an accessory calibration will receive the 2022 TCM update and the most current accessory calibration at
the time of the update.

• US / Canada Dealers: On DEX, go to Service and Warranty > Warranty Claim and Extended Coverage > Start a New
Warranty Claim. Select Service Advisory> Enter the VIN / PIN and Retrieve Registration. Select TSA-22-01 and Send
Claim.
• International Dealers: On iDEX, go to Service and Warranty> Warranty Claims>Start a New Warranty Claim. Select
Service Advisory> Enter the VIN / PIN and Retrieve Registration. Select TSA-22-01 and Send Claim
COVERAGE PERIOD

TSA-22-01 PROCEDURE

9. Select Vehicle Update.

PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT
This procedure requires the use of Digital Wrench® II.
Connect a battery charger to the vehicle during the
programming and grid learn procedures
1. Park vehicle on a flat surface.
2. Shift vehicle to NEUTRAL.
10. Select the appropriate brake package equipped on the
vehicle.
3. Press START/STOP button to turn vehicle OFF.
4. Apply parking brake.
5. Verify that Digital Wrench II version 1.0.16 or later has
been installed on your PC or laptop. For installation
instructions, Click HERE to view the Digital Wrench II
user manual or visit “Other Publications” on the left
navigation menu of the DEX STOP site.
6. Connect MultiLink XP cables to PC and vehicle. Power
on into ignition mode by pressing the brake pedal or
pushing the start button twice. Do NOT start.
CAUTION
Make sure the vehicle has sufficient battery voltage and is
connected to a battery charger before the reflash. Failure
to do so may result in a reflash crash and damage the
ECM.
11. Select the appropriate paddle shifter configuration.
7. Open the Digital Wrench II application.
8. Select Auto Identify.

12. Select the appropriate engine calibration level.
13. Select Continue to begin programming.
14. Perform grid learn and kiss point learn procedures.
Follow the on-screen prompts.
NOTICE
The clutch wear index test drive requires the computer to
be connected to the vehicle to monitor the number of
acceptable starts completed.
15. Perform the idle relearn procedure.
16. Submit a Service Advisory Warranty Claim for
TSA-22-01.
