Spare Parts Requirements - When Working on the Maintenance Flaps in the Rear
Doors: Replacing Covers on Maintenance Flaps (136/18)

Moisture can seep into the dry area of the vehicle.

Vehicles produced during the usage period may have been fitted with covers ( Tape on maintenance flap cover -1-) with excessive tolerances.
The affected covers can be identified by the tape ( Tape on maintenance flap cover -2-).
Information
•
The part number of the left/right cover has not changed, only the tolerance range was optimised.
The new left/right cover must be re-ordered accordingly.
When working on the maintenance flaps in the rear doors
•
•
on a vehicle that was produced during the usage period
and if there is tape
 replace the existing covers with re-ordered covers.

Covers with lower tolerances and without tape have been installed during production since 24 May 2018.

The following points must be observed in relation to the part numbers listed below and the
relevant vehicle (depending on equipment):

Part number indexes will increase over time. Before performing repairs, cross reference with
PET (Porsche Spare Parts Catalog), for newer parts (higher index).

PET must be checked to determine if additional components are needed.
Particular/modified components, whose part numbers are listed accordingly, are required for
the remedial action.
