SSM 50556 - 2020-2022 Aviator - Door Ajar/Door Fault Warning Message
With DTCs B1175:19, B1176:19, B11C0:19 And/Or B11C1:19 Present In The
DCME, DCMF, DCMG, And/Or DCMH
Some 2020-2022 Aviator vehicles may exhibit a door ajar or door fault warning message present in
the message center with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B1175:19, B1176:19, B11C0:19 and/or
B11C1:19 present in door latch control module E (DCME), door latch control module F (DCMF), door
latch control module G (DCMG) and/or door latch control module H (DCMH). This may be due to low
battery voltage and DTC thresholds being too low and not a fault in the door latch assembly.
Engineering is releasing updated software to resolve this concern, which is expected to be available
by the end of June-2022. In the meantime, clear these DTC's and if any reset with normal battery
voltage follow normal Workshop Manual diagnostics and repair. Monitor OASIS for updates.
