SSM 50614 - 2021-2022 F-150 - Illuminated MIL With DTCs:P04F0 And/Or P04EE Stored In The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) - Built On Or Before 31-Jan-2021 Some 2021-2022 F-150 vehicles equipped with a 3.5L PowerBoost engine and built on or before 31Jan-2021 may experience an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostics trouble codes (DTCs) P04F0 And/Or P04EE stored in the PCM. This may be due to the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor becoming unseated from its mount on the evaporative (EVAP) tube that connects to the top of the fuel pump and sender unit, causing an EVAP system leak near the top of the fuel tank. If the sensor is found to be unseated, resecure the sensor by pressing the sensor down vertically and retest. If the concern is resolved, the 9D683 assembly needs to be replaced due to the sensor retainers becoming weak. Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 303-13D. For claiming, use causal part 9D683 and applicable labor operations in Section 09 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. APPLICABLE VEHICLES 2021 - 2022 TRUCK: FD P702N F150
