Model(s) Year Q5, and SQ5 2019 – 2021 VIN Range Vehicle-Specific Equipment All Not Applicable Q5 e quattro 2020 – 2021 Condition Customer states: Parking brake malfunction message displayed in the instrument cluster. Workshop findings: The following DTCs may be stored in the ABS control unit J104, (address word 0003). DTC C10BD01 Right parking brake motor electrical error, and/or: DTC C10BC01 Left parking brake motor electrical error. Technical Background Not applicable. Production Solution Not applicable. Service Proceed as follows: 1. Replace the rear caliper assembly together with parking brake motor (V282 and/or V283) according to: ELSA>>Repair Manual>>Chassis>>Brake Systems>>Rear Brake>>Parking Brake. 1.
