Complaint
Requirement:
Key settings for "selective unlocking" is activated.
Only affects vehicles with code 889 (Keyless-Go)
Note:
The complaint does NOT occur at "global unlock" key setting.
After retracting and extending the door handles three times in succession, the so-called "anti-play" is activated. This
prevents the door handles from being extended the next time the vehicle is approached because the counter for "anti-play" is not reset.
If door handles do not extended upon approach AND after customer presses door handle review LI80.61-P-073358.
Cause
The "anti-play" Should be activated after approaching the vehicle three times in succession (without unlocking / locking) and then automatically reset the next time the vehicle is locked. This "anti-play" is to prevent the door handles
from repeatedly extending if the customer is near the vehicle and discharging the battery.
Selective unlocking:
The "anti-play" is activated following a third approach. After successful locking of the vehicle, the counter for the "anti-play" is not reset. The door handles are therefore no longer extended the next time the vehicle is approached.
Remedy
It is not necessary to replace any parts and doing so will not remedy the situation!

To reset the "anti-play" counter: Press the Unlock button on the key twice. This globally unlocks the vehicle one time.
The "Selective unlocking" setting will still remain activate after this forced global unlock.
