Technicians may find DTC P0607 in the body control module (BCM) set current or in recent history. Cause The cause of the condition may be an internal BCM software anomaly can inadvertently set DTC P0607 and set the check engine light. Correction Do not replace the BCM. Engineering is currently investigating a root cause. Reset the BCM by removing the vbatt 1 (F49DR BCM1) and vbatt 2 (F4DR BCM 2) fuses for five minutes. Then reinstall the fuses, clear all DTCs and confirm P0607 has not returned and MIL is off. Warranty Information Important: Warranty coverage code E2 applies for this module programming event. ECM reprogramming is covered for 8 years/80,000 miles (U.S.) or 8 years/ 130,000 km (Canada). For vehicles repaired under the Emission coverage, use the following labor operation.
