Cause
GM is aware of this issue and working to root cause
Correction:
NOTE: This issue is more likely to occur below 10,000 Miles / 16,000 Kilometers.
One of the listed vehicles may arrive in service with the complaint of Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Illuminated During Cold Ambient Temperatures (at
or below -12C / 10F).
DTCs P30C3 and/or P30BF P30C7 P30CB may be stored current or in history.
Clear any DTC's and perform a cold start to retest for the code or codes resetting.
If the code or codes reset, use Global Service information to perform Strategy Based Diagnosis.
IF the code or codes do not reset, release the vehicle to the customer and advise the following.
GM is aware of this issue and working to root cause.
