A technician may nd that after replacing the wire harness on the DEF tank DTCs
P20B9 and/or P20C1 may be set.
This may be caused by a wiring change to the service DEF tanks.
Condition
Cause
Correction:
Examine the 16 pin wire harness connector.
If pin location 12 is empty, the wire harness is the rst design.
If pin location 12 has a wire in the connector, the wire harness is the second design.
Please verify which wire harness is installed on the vehicle prior to ordering. This can be done by checking for the
presence of a pin in location 12 of the wire harness.
