A customer may report that the heel rest for the 2nd row executive seats is not
operating properly.
Technical Description:
–
This may be caused by a heel rest motor malfunction or damage to the heel rest
frame.
Status:
–
–
–
The heel rest motor and frame have now been released as a lower level service
part, preventing the need to replace the front seat back frame assembly to
service the heel rest motor or frame.
Please refer to the lower level assembly service parts to conduct repairs
wherever possible upon diagnosis of a heel rest motor or frame failure.
The service procedure has been added to the Workshop Manual, section 501-10:
Seating > Removal and Installation > Front Row Passenger Seat Heel Rest Motor
And Mechanism.
