On February 25, 2016, we at American Honda Finance Corpora on (AHFC) posted a message on the
Interac ve Network (iN) containing a link to an acknowledgement form that would allow clients coming
oﬀ lease to purchase their vehicles subject to the most recent front driver’s side Takata airbag inﬂator
recall, 16V-061.
Upon further review and in compliance with the stop sale, AHFC has made the decision to disallow the
sale of oﬀ-lease vehicles to their original lessees (lease-to-retail rollovers) un l the recall repairs
have been performed on the vehicle. The acknowledgement form has been removed from the iN
eﬀec ve March 7, 2016. If you purchase any oﬀ lease vehicles subject to one or more Takata airbag
inﬂator recalls, including those purchased through the Vehicle Inter-Dealer System (VIPS), they cannot
be re-sold un l the required repairs have been completed.
