Customer complains of a creaking noise from the left front of the vehicle. The concern is more noticeable when
cold. The noise can be clearly heard at load change.
Technical Background
Relative movement in the lengthways transmission mount leads to a creaking noise.
Production Solution
Optimized gearbox mounting from Chassis No.: TRU___FK_C19001493.
Service
Use Chassis Ears to confirm the noise is from the transmission mount. Once confirmed replace the transmission
mount and verify the repair.
