Recently, we've noticed some claims for broken fuel filler lid clips. We are currently investigating this clip issue and have
noticed that most of the claims are on vehicles with the walk-away auto-locking feature. Customers may be pulling on the
fuel filler lid without knowing that it's locked and accidentally break the clip. The item is currently under investigation.
To fix the issue, replace the clip.
NOTE: If a vehicle comes in for this issue and before writing up the Repair Order, check to see if the walk-away auto-lock
feature is active. If it is, remind your customer of the walk-away auto-lock feature and how it works.
