Bulletin No.: PIT5910 Published date: 05/3/2022 Preliminary Information PIT5910 Dome Light O Switch Does Not Disable The Dome Lights Even Though The Dome Light O Switch Is Still On Models Brand: Chevrolet Model: Silverado 1500 New (RPO J22, VIN Digit 12 = 5 or greater) Model Years: VIN: from to Engine: Transmissions: 2022 All All All All Chevrolet Suburban 2022 All All All All Chevrolet Tahoe 2022 All All All All GMC Sierra 1500 New (RPO J22, VIN Digit 12 = 5 or greater) 2022 All All All All GMC Yukon Models 2022 All All All All Involved Region or Country North America Condition Some customers may comment when the dome light o switch is pressed, which disables the dome lights when the doors are opened, that initially the system is working properly. But if the vehicle is turned o and allowed to completely go asleep, the next time they open a door the dome lights turn on even though the dome light o switch is still on. Cause This concern could be caused by a BCM software issue. Correction: At this time do not replace any components. Engineering is aware of the issue and working on a x to correct the concern.
