2016 Models with MIB2 Infotainment System - Component
Protection Activated on Radio after Cluster Replacement
If Component Protection is activated on the radio after replacing the instrument cluster, running the “KSMaster (Gateway) connection system” test plan will take the radio out of component protection.
1. Select the Special Functions tab.
2. Scroll down to the “25 – Component protection functions” section.
3. Perform the “KS-Master (Gateway) connection system” test plan.
