Tech Tip T-TT-0685-22 March 21, 2022 Subject Market Engine Oil Leak from No. 2 Oil Pan for F and G Serial Number Engines USA Service Category Section Engine/Hybrid System Lubrication Applicability 2017-2022 Highlander 2017-2020 Sienna APPLICABLE VEHICLES 2017-2022 Highlander 2017-2020 Sienna CONDITION Some 17-22MY Highlander, and 17-20MY Sienna vehicles with engine serial numbers that start with F or G may experience an engine oil leak condition from the No.2 Oil pan. This issue is currently under investigation. Please take detailed pictures of the oil pan leak condition before repair. If condition is on applicable vehicles with engine serial numbers that do not start with F or G, disregard, and proceed with normal repair. RECOMMENDATIONS Please create a TAS case and contact TAS for instruction prior to diagnosing or repairing of the vehicle. Please take a detailed picture of the untouched oil pan leak condition and attach photos to the TAS case. If it is a weekend or a holiday, continue with diagnosis and repair. Please save all parts and/or details and contact TAS on the next available workday.
