SITUATION
A wind noise can be heard when driving at highway speeds from the area around the lower windshield.
CAUSE
Improper sealing of the engine bulkhead trim.
CORRECTION
Apply additional insulation to the engine bulkhead trim seal if found to be deformed.
PROCEDURE
1. Remove the engine bulkhead trim. Gain access for removal by removing the windshield panel cover,
REP 51 13 116 “Removing and installing windshield panel cover”.
2. Reference the photo below for the location of potential deformed seal:

3. With bulkhead trim removed, inspect the rubber sealing surface. Is the seal deformed?
Yes: Continue to step 4
No: Continue troubleshooting, this bulletin does not apply
