Some 2022 expedition/navigator vehicles built on or before 25-mar-2022 may experience a fuel gauge that reads empty with dtc P0460:13. Dtcs P0461/P0463 may also be present. This may be due to an open circuit in the fuel level sender (fls).

DTC P0460:13 - Built On Or Before 25-Mar-2022
Some 2022 Expedition/Navigator vehicles built on or before 25-Mar-2022 may experience a fuel
gauge that reads empty with DTC P0460:13. DTCs P0461/P0463 may also be present. This may be
due to an open circuit in the fuel level sender (FLS).To correct the condition, replace the FLS using
service part number NL1Z-9A299-A. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 310-01. For
claiming, use causal part9A299 and applicable labor operations in Section 09 of the Service Labor
Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
