Condition
MY22 Macan customers (with IY2 option) report that Real-Time Traffic Information (RTTI) is not showing for them
in map view (neither in default view, nor during active route guidance). The service has never worked before on the
vehicle and cannot be resolved by changing the private mode setting for individual services.
Technical Background
There is a coding issue for the PayTMC value (TMC = Traffic Message Channel) for certain MY22 Macan builds based
on SOP date (IY2 option). On affected vehicles, the default value is set to 65535 (NOK) instead of 65533 (OK). This 		
is causing the vehicle to not receive Real-Time Traffic Information.
Service Information
Please use PCSS to determine whether this TI covers vehicle by checking vehicle equipment. Description how to 		
check vehicle equipment is attached on page 2.
Once confirmed that vehicle is affected and equipped with IY2, a workshop visit is required to re-code PCM with 		
correct PayTMC value.
With applied PIWIS tester (Tester-Release 41.100.010 or newer), please select PCM/Coding & Programming/
Automatic Coding. After completion, PayTMC value is set correctly. Please ensure to create and upload a vehicle 		
analysis log (VAL) for documentation.

Enter VIN in PCSS
2.
Search Vehicle equipment (M-numbers) by entering “IY2” in search bar
3.
Confirm that vehicle has “IY2” (=Model Year Period 2)
