Description: This bulletin describes the procedure to refinish 19” wheels equipped on some 19-20MY
Santa Fe (TMA) 2.0T vehicles with peeling clear coat.
Applicable Vehicles: Certain 2019-20MY Santa Fe (TMA) 2.0T vehicles equipped with 19” wheels
produced from June 26, 2018 to July 24, 2020.

NOTE 1: Normal warranty applies.
NOTE 2: Use B2 sublet type which will carry the 5/60 warranty applicable to the wheels. Sublet
amount may require additional review.
NOTE 3: If a vehicle returns with the same issue after having been refinished and is still within the
warranty period, replace all 4 wheels.
NOTE 4: The op code includes time for tire disassembly, TPMS disassembly, TPMS reassembly and
programming, mounting the new tires, checking the RFV, wheel balancing, and TPMS sensor
registration.

Contact local wheel repair shops and
schedule wheel re-finishing service.
Remove wheel/tire assemblies from the
vehicle, remove the tires and TPMS
sensors.
NOTICE
Retain TPMS sensors and reinstall after wheels have been
refinished.
Deliver wheels to the repair shop for
refinishing service.

Retrieve wheels, install TPMS sensors,
mount & balance tires:
• Use new valve stems, do not
reuse the original parts.
• Check RFV, arrange wheel/tire
assemblies according to the
graphic to the right.
• Register TPMS sensors to
module.

Tightening Torque: 107.9-127.5 N.m
