Please be advised that Non-Compliance Recall J030, as previously stated in Service Bulletins 7-072CAN and
7-072USA, requires all 2011-2014 model year Jaguar XK Convertible vehicles within the VIN range B42168B53946 be withheld from sale or onward distribution due to a non-compliance issue relating to the operation of
the power windows when using the convertible roof switch.
In order to rectify this non-compliance, the convertible roof switch will be replaced with a revised design. This
convertible top switch is mounted in the overhead console. The rectification process will include replacement of
this overhead console / convertible roof switch assembly.
The revised component is currently in the process of being procured; however, based on current lead times, the
expected availability in the latter part of September, 2013.
A further communication will be sent, once the necessary parts are ready for distribution, detailing the necessary
action required for vehicles in retailer inventory and those vehicles already in the hands of customers.
