Technical Service Bulletin Service A spring clip (06J145220A) must be fitted on the wastegate adjustment (Figure 1). Figure 1. Spring clip On vehicles with front wheel drive: 1. Remove the noise damping according to the instructions in Elsa: Repair Manual >> Body >> Body Exterior >> 50 Body Front >> Removal and Installation >> Noise Insulation. 2. Remove the propshaft heat shield according to the instructions in Elsa: Repair Manual >> Body >> 66 Exterior Equipment >> Removal and Installation >> Underbody Trim Panels >>Heat Shields, Driveshaft 2. Technical Service Bulletin 3. Fit the spring clip on the wastegate adjustment (Figure 5). Figure 5. Fit the spring clip on the wastegate adjustment. Tip: The spring tip must not be overstretched. The maximum opening of the spring clip is 14 mm. In the example in the image, the opening is approximately 10.5 mm (Figure 6). The spring clip must be replaced after every removal. Figure 6.
